My annual salary is in the middle of £4 million."

Hwang Hee-chan has extended his contract with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English professional football league by two years until June 2028. Wolverhampton is expected to give Hwang the best treatment in his team.

Reporter Fabrizio Romano, an expert on the transfer market of European football, wrote on X (X, old Twitter) on the night of the 13th, "Wolverhampton agreed to a new contract with Hwang Hee-chan. The new contract is due in June 2028, and includes an option for an additional season (extension)." Earlier, sports media The Athletic reported the news of the launch of negotiations between Wolverhampton and Hwang Hee-chan last month, explaining, "Wolverhampton plans to present improved conditions as compensation for Hwang Hee-chan's performance."

Romano did not elaborate on the salary that is included in Hwang's new contract, but said, "Hwang will receive the same level as the highest-paid players in his club." According to Sportak, an annual salary information site, the top-ranked player in Wolverhampton is midfielder Pablo Sarabia, who is paid 4.68 million pounds. In contrast, striker Hwang Hee-chan's annual salary this season is 1.56 million pounds (2.579 billion won). As a result, Hwang is expected to receive an annual salary of around 4 million pounds, up three times from the current level.   스포츠토토
