welcome back to the ebay template liating underground this is a continuing part of my series on ebay basics what to do when you start selling and how to make selling a little easier if you've never done it before so today's uh tutorial video is going to be how to create a template for listing on ebay so one thing i've learned is that i sell a lot of the same thing over and over again and to save time and save money which is kind of the same thing the less your listing a lot the quicker it takes you to list the faster you can list your products and move on to either more sourcing shipping etc so let's get into your ebay account click on the um my ebay and you're going to go to the sell button on the top right side here click on the sell button it's going to take you to a page where it's your active listings so let's go down here to active listings right here
Faster Listing
it's going to take you i have 455 listings and i got more to do but then you're going to go to create listing here on the right side and you're going to do a single listing and you're going to look at the bottom and it says listing templates you can either create a new listing template or manage your current templates so let's say you start selling and you notice there's an error in your templates you can always edit the old templates instead of starting over again so i'm going to go to create new template so let's say you sell a lot of gi joe figurines or you sell like me a lot of dvds or blu-rays or shoes if you look at my templates here i have blu-ray listings dvd listings men's shoes women's shoes whatever your category of choice maybe it's a collectible type of doll or you sell you know old electronics whatever it is you can create a ebay listing template design
for that to save time so i'm going to create a new template and it's going to take you to a page where you can title your template and for today's uh template i'm going to choose to create one that i've never done before and that is i'm going to sell antique gi joes for the purpose of this video so if you see here in the top video on the top of this you can go in here and you can type in the template name so let's say i've got a big lot i bought somebody's collection of gi joes so you can type gi joe listing all right so then you can go down here and search categories if i type in gi joe i hit enter it is going to take you to all the different types of collectibles so let's say this was a an estate sale and you bought all the collectibles from the 1980s so 1984 to 1991 is when they had that run of really cool toys like i grew up on that run of gi joe toys so you're going to click the the listing um collectible
