Indeed, I spent almost 10 years exploring various traditional (and not very) spiritual schools, taking lessons from the masters, with one purpose - to take a look at different views on human nature and make friends with my own mind. But I don't think that my studies make me more spiritualized or knowledgeable than others. For me, prayer and meditation are a way to quickly harmonize my interaction with myself and the world. Any other means used for the same purpose are no less spiritual, in my opinion. Even having a beer with friends, clubbing til the morning, interacting with other people or just doing your routine stuff, you can feel love and cultivate love around you.
That's what it means to me to be "spiritual", no special rituals are needed for this.
