A total of 16 people attended the rookie orientation, including first-round designated players Jeon Joon-pyo and Kim Yoon-ha, 14 rookie players and two nurturing players.
The orientation is designed to educate rookie players who have taken their first steps as professional players on the skills and basic postures they must have in their professional lives.
Starting with encouraging speeches by the Futures team coach Hong Won-ki and Seol Jong-jin, Lee continued training, marketing, media response, and nutrition management. Lee Jung-hoo, who moved to the San Francisco Giants in the Major League, also participated as a special instructor and shared his experiences in the KBO League. After completing their training, rookie players received gifts to celebrate joining the professional league.
Rookie Kim Yoon-ha said, "Through today's training, I was able to learn the mindset and behaviors that professional players need to have. I've been trying to gain weight recently, but after listening to nutrition management lecture, I feel like I can manage my body more systematically from now on. I feel like this is the real start. I want to continue my professional career based on what I learned today."
