Keeping an Aquarium...
I bought a Ten Gallon Aquarium, back
around 1971, but it had a crack in the glass...
We went back to
and they had no more 10 gallon
starters, so they gave me a 15.
It was a Metaframe tank, and I got
an under gravel filter, and a nice
Metaframe incandescent hood.
I eventually kept all the fish pictured in the gif above ...
The Elephant Nose was a new purchase by
Mike Carpenter, my Hutch Tech Electronics partner. We put it in my tank briefly while we played Basketball...but it jumped out of my tank and died.
The Aquarium sat on top of my Dad's Silvertone
Phono AM/FM Shortwave Wire Recorder
Console, which was solid Mahogany.

I had live plants, and even a crawfish
and some dace minnows from
Cattaraugus Creek in Arcade, NY.
