For those of you ABOUT TO ROCK ... er, sorry - who can't get the patcher working, simply do this:
1. Go to C:\Program Files\Hit'n'Mix\RipX and right-click on the ripx.exe
2. Select Properties Tab
3. Select Compatibilities Tab
4. "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" Windows 7
5. Select 'Apply'
6. Thank me profusely ;-)
