The late Michael Drosnin wrote about

Equidistant Letter Sequences in the Book of Genesis

Doron Witztum, Eliyahu Rips, Yoav Rosenberg

Statistical Science, Vol. 9, No. 3 (Aug., 1994), pp. 429-438 (10 pages)

They followed ancient traditions of

Torah study, with a computerized method,

examining the text of Genesis in a

Turbo Pascal array, and building a search

engine that would examine the text on

all possible letter skip values.

The method was carefully examined

Statistically, and published in 1994.

...

Back to Drosnin...

Two years before Drosnin's book,

I had a prophetic dream the night before

Yitzhak Rabin's final Peace Rally.

I opened my Jerusalem Bible at random

the next morning to Hosea.

It described the brothers in Jerusalem

plotting to kill their king.

I recounted the dream and the Hosea

reference out loud, knowing that

the government eavesdrops on

people like me ...

The news reported Rabin's death

later that day.

Drosnin reports finding the assassination

the year before it occurred, in the Hebrew

Year 5756.

Drosnin had been concerned with Y2K

and potential apocalyptic events.

Drosnin found the term:

End of Days

It was associated with Rabin's murder.

As he wrote the book, he puzzled over

the End of Days phrase found on the

code page.

The world had not ended...

Drosnin examine the year 5756,

and explains that it is composed of

five Hebrew words, that make a question,

or a statement:

Will you change it ?

You will change it.
