IPC Section 18 is such a section which provides for the punishment of the guilty. This section is imposed on the basis of the type of crime and the seriousness of the culprits. In most of the cases, this section provides for the amount of fine or punishment. Examples of IPC Section 18 include - housebreaking and willful assault. If someone is found guilty of these crimes, they are punished under IPC section 18.
