Indonesia is an archipelagic country surrounded by the sea so that it has many diving spots with various beauties. An Indonesian name has even won the Best Scuba Diving Destination 2021 which was announced by Dive Magazine. Of the many diving locations in Indonesia, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy summarizes some of the best diving spots in Indonesia, including Pulau Weh diving to Komodo National Park:

  1. Wakatobi, Southeast Sulawesi

The first diving destination is Wakatobi, Southeast Sulawesi. This area is known as the largest barrier reef area in Indonesia. The beauty of the coral is even in second place after Australia (Greet Barrier Reef). There are around 942 types of fish and 750 species of coral reefs under the Wakatobi sea and can be seen up close. Apart from that, Wakatobi is also a habitat for turtles, dolphins and whales.
