Discover The Rewards of Business and Social Networking

 

As I have grown, I have come to recognize that reward is one of the primary motivations of humanity. We were often told as children that hard work would reap success; consequently we worked tirelessly towards it. Unfortunately though, laziness and complacency also reap their own rewards; many come to realise later in their lives they could have made better use of this time by exploring the rewards associated with excelling in certain fields; many expected success would fall upon them later, yet rarely does.

 

The world responds directly to what we put in, from networking efforts that fail to yield any returns at all to calculated and aggressive networking activities that create powerful networks with exponential returns that outshone all others in terms of profitability and benefits for children and loved ones as a result of them. The rewards will almost always extend well beyond you personally; sometimes these benefits go even beyond yourself to encompass their lives too!

 

Surveys have repeatedly shown that employees in organizations become disillusioned when the rewards do not match up with their efforts expended on a job. High performing establishments usually implement reward systems for employees; unfortunately, however, most employees fail to recognize or appreciate what rewards come with doing their work well and therefore lack motivation to go above average or do the extraordinary. Unfortunately for organizations and employees, such as employees in organizations are frequently demotivated when rewards do not match efforts expended and often remain disengaged from work altogether. Unfortunately for employees working in organizations or organisations, too many employees fail to consider this aspect and thus lack motivation necessary for excellent work performance or accomplishment. Unfortunately for such establishments or establishments to implement reward systems; unfortunately for many employees taking time considering rewards can help motivate them do their work better or doing something extraordinary or else other than this job they won't even try. Unfortunately this keeps most workers from paying them and taking time considering why this reward system exists so there's little motivational for high performing establishments with reward systems for workers but this often doesn't happen so when performing above average or exceptional. Eventually leading them into performing above average or performing extraordinary. Result in no inspiration being generated to go above average or do the extraordinary performances and thusly fail in doing extraordinary performance increases performance beyond average or do extraordinary performance to perform above average or perform above average and inspire performance, motivators not being provided from doing an resulting in their performance to go above average performance motivation without doing if done at least some. - leaving motivation required them drive to strive towards performing above average or extraordinary performance increases performance by either party being provided them, no incentives either way as resultantly motivate to do extraordinary. /extraordinaire performance as there will never occur either

 

Networking can be invaluable across all professions - from security personnel to Chief Executive Officer. I recall often receiving assistance from one security officer in one of Lagos' banks in finding an acceptable parking space; every time I visited this bank he came quickly forward with his signature smile to lend his help. One day he boldly approached me saying, 'Sir, please pardon my disturbance; my son studied Accountancy at university before finishing National Youth Service this summer; would it be possible if you can assist my son find employment'."

 

Astoundingly, when I informed him I didn't have a vacancy for his son at that moment in time, but gave my card and told him to inform his son to drop his CV off at my office anyway - which he promptly did! About two weeks later while out with another friend looking for accountants for their new firm - who do you think came immediately to mind but the son of this security man! That is definitely proof of networking working.

 

Please remember that I do not intend to imply that effective networking will always work this way, but its effects could certainly help accelerate your path toward a faster return in life.

 

Vision-based networking also works. Once you can clearly visualize what benefits come from effective networking, i loved this your attitude toward networking becomes more proactive. Consider David from the Bible who singlehandedly brought down Goliath (an enormous giant). Before leaving to face him head-on at battlefront, David went around Israel camp asking what the rewards for killing Goliath would be; these motivational rewards were enough for David to go after killing him head on! As with David's experience, you need a clear visual in your mind of your reward; make networking something passionately pursued!

 

Before getting married, I made a list of what the rewards would be of getting married. For me personally, these included things such as having a productive kitchen and the sight of children running freely throughout my home; being responsible and having found someone special; as these rewards inspired me to find someone worthy to marry; they can serve as motivation to pursue one's desired dreams with all available resources necessary.
