Entering the bar, black skinny jeans tucked into her boots paired with a black and white striped baby tee, the brunette glanced around to decide how the night was gonna go. She had already bailed on one bar due to seeing someone she owed money to, and the last thing she wanted to do was have to bail a second time. The room seemed clear, though, and she walked up to the counter, setting her card and I.D. on the bar.
"Whiskey on the rocks."
It had been a week, and the only thing she wanted to do was relax. Between avoiding Darrien, getting her van fixed, and having to replace the fan in her laptop, she was ready for a drink. It didn't take long for it to be placed in front of her, and after giving the bartender a smile, she went back to looking around the room. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night, but it was still far from the size of a Friday night crowd. Part of her wondered if there was an event going on, but she didn't exactly care enough to ask someone. The second her eyes landed on a tall man in the back corner, though, she nearly choked on her drink. There was no mistaking Frank for anyone else, and the last time they had spoke, he had informed her that if he ever saw her again, she was going to walk away -- but not without a few bruises and busted nose.
Glancing around quickly, she spotted a man in the corner by himself. He had a drink, but seemed to be alone. Perfect. Without hesitation, she made a beeline for his table, smiling as she set her drink on the table.
"This seat taken?"
She didn't even wait for an answer before sitting down, glancing quickly over her shoulder again before turning her eyes to the older stranger before her.
