Turkiye FW From Manchester City returns to PL after '7 years'

AFC Bournemouth have signed Manchester City striker Enes Wijnall (26).

Bournemouth officially announced the recruitment on its website on the 2nd (Korea time), saying, "We are happy to confirm the loan contract for Turkiye national team Enes Winal."

Last season, Bournemouth had 11 wins, 6 draws and 21 losses and 39 points in its first season since its promotion to the league, and successfully stayed in the English Premier League. This season, Bournemouth ranked 12th in the league with seven wins, five draws and nine losses and 26 points in 21 matches, and is making strides. It also garnered a landslide 5-0 victory against Swansea City in the round of 32 strongest teams at the FA Cup.

Bournemouth was not satisfied with this. Bournemouth wanted to win a UEFA Conference League ticket, which is given up to the seventh place. As of Tuesday, it is only nine points shorter than the current seventh place. Hence, Bournemouth started recruiting Wijnal in the January transfer market and successfully secured Wijnall.

Winal is a striker from Turkiye. He is a typical target striker and actively attempts to use his physical strength. He is also good at post-playing, showing off his strength in headers and holding on to his back at the front line, as he garnered 5.6 aerial balls per 90 minutes during the last season.

Wijnall is a bursafort youth who played professionally in August 2013 against fk voivodina in the first leg of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League. Even at an early age, he grew up receiving consistent opportunities to play for two seasons, and was considered the future of Turkiye.

In 2015, winnall also made the roster for the Turkiye national team. Winnall, who has played for all ages, made his A match debut against Luxembourg and competed in the 2018 Russia World Cup, Euro 2020 and 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifiers.

In the summer of 2015, Winal moved to Manchester City. However, at the time, Manchester City had a big wall called Sergio Aguero, and Winal, who did not get a chance to play, left on loan. In the 2016-2017 season, Winal was the top scorer for his team and fifth in the league with 18 goals in 32 matches for FC Tventor.

Winal, who joined Villarreal after failing to renew his contract with Manchester City, moved to Getafe in August 2020 after loaning Levante and Real Valladolid. He confirmed the possibility with four goals and two assists in 28 league games in the 2020-2021 season, and tied for fifth in La Liga scoring with 16 goals in the 2021-2022 season.

Last season, Wijnall scored 14 goals to rank seventh, and was in charge of Getafe's attack along with Borja Mayoral. Had it not for Wijnall, Getafe would have been demoted to Spain's second division. However, Wijnall became a candidate resource this season as he had only one assist in three La Liga games.

He sought a transfer for more opportunities to play, and Bournemouth joined hands. According to Fabrizio Romano, an expert on the European soccer transfer market, Winal left for Bournemouth on loan with a mandatory transfer option of 16.5 million euros (about 23.7 billion won).  토토사이트

Winal is likely to be a two-top player with Dominic Solanke at Bournemouth or play the backup role. Solanke is making a Premier League career high with 13 goals and one assist in 21 games this season. Will Winal ever make a comeback at Bournemouth.
