Developers Shopoff Realty Investments and Contour began construction Friday, July 7, 2022, on the $550 million Dream Las Vegas Casino Resort on Las Vegas Boulevard near McCarren International Airport in Las Vegas. The ceremony marks the start of construction of the building, which is expected to open at the end of 2024. The project will reportedly include a restaurant, a nightlife, a third-floor swimming pool deck, and a meeting and event space.
In February 2020, after announcing plans to debut its original flagship lifestyle brand, Dream Hotel, in Las Vegas, New York-based hotel and brand management company Dream Hotel Group received approval from the Clark County Commission on Oct. 6, 2021, for a 19-story hotel casino planned to be built on a roughly 5-acre site on Las Vegas Boulevard across from the Mandalay Bay Resort and Bali High Golf Club near the southern edge of the strip. With 19 floors, 526 rooms and suites, the project will offer a more intimate boutique-style experience, and in addition to the games, it will reportedly include seven dining and nightlife venues, including a rooftop full deck bar & lounge, three features, grab & go cafe, two lounge & bar concept game floors, fitness center, 12 square feet of meeting and event space, and an enclosed parking lot.
