Humanity is mainly aware of its Ego as the center of consciousness, and only sometimes in dreams, feelings, meditation... we guess that the consciousness of our Being is not doomed only to it, but contains several structures (we do not mean chakras), differing from each other in the quality and type of energies that fill them.
In addition to the Temporary Structures of Consciousness (Ego, Personal Power, Actor), there are also Long-Term Structures of Consciousness (Developing Consciousness of the Soul, Inner Child, Fairy...), and within the framework of this text we will try to show their main characteristics.
Temporal Structures of Consciousness
Ego
At birth, the infant's consciousness is close to what we call Pure Consciousness, this is a state of consciousness without physical sensations, emotions and thoughts, this is Consciousness in its pure natural state, not yet "polluted" by the contents of the Ego.
However, through feelings and sensations the newborn baby reacts to the world around him, and this reaction attracts consciousness from the Physical, Emotional and Mental Bodies, creating in time a special center of consciousness. The constant reactions to which the baby is subject, as well as the inner needs that he feels, attract an ever-increasing amount of energy of consciousness to the newly formed center, and when, as a result of the constant influx of consciousness, it reaches a certain critical mass and saturation, it becomes aware of itself as a unique, separate and independent being. The Ego is born.
However, since the Ego is made up of physical, emotional and mental patches, it is painfully aware of the fact that its structure is highly unstable and dependent on a constant infusion of energy/consciousness: new physical sensations, new emotions and new thoughts. Therefore, it keeps these three components constantly active, so that they continually produce the energy necessary for its existence.
Let us remember that the Ego in the spatial sense is not a single whole, but is located in different parts of the layers of the aura, and what unites the parts of its consciousness, is the close range of their vibrations. In essence, we can speak of the Physical Ego, the Emotional Ego and the Mental Ego.
Mental Ego
The Mental Ego of each person is a temporary structure containing everything that makes him special and unique in comparison with others. This structure, such as it is, is unstable and very sensitive. Every time you enter into an argument with a person, challenging his beliefs, self-definition, customs, habits, you, in fact, destroy his Mental Ego, which he, quite understandably, resists.
The Mental Ego Describes Itself with Beliefs
Belief (non-religion term) is a mental conclusion about the nature, characteristics and mode of action of some object, phenomenon or person and can be based on personally experienced or only supposed experience. Experienced or imagined, it leads to a conclusion that has the force of Truth for a person. In this case, from a collection of many truths, views on life are built, on the basis of which a person makes decisions and acts in the future.
Building a Mental Ego is not an easy or quick process; it is generally completed around the age of 25, when a person already has a generalized view of the world.
Although it is necessary from time to time, the Mental Ego often turns into its opposite, and over time becomes a kind of mental prison that interferes with the further development of a person and the knowledge of the world. Beliefs, voluntarily accepted or imposed by the family, society or culture in which he grew up, often make a person blind and deaf to all types of thinking and existence that do not fit into the narrow framework of his beliefs.
This is to some extent understandable, because the adoption of a new belief requires, first of all, the rejection of the old one, which is energetically painful, since cutting off any part of the Mental Ego disrupts its structure and awakens in it the fear of disappearance and death.
Emotional Ego
Emotions are the way the Emotional Ego responds to other people, life experiences, and the situations it finds itself in.
The Emotional Ego is sensitive, so it is easy to hurt and provoke into action. If someone tells your Mental Ego that it is stupid, the Emotional Ego will automatically respond with anger and fury.
But if the Mental Ego feels that circumstances or your social position do not permit their expression, or if your Life Ego judges a certain physical reaction to an insult to be too risky, then the Emotional Ego will have to hide its reaction. However, it will continue to carry this repressed anger and irritation within itself and will most often, release it where you are completely safe, in the circle of your family.
Physical Ego
Physical Ego is a part of the Temporal Consciousness, related to the group of impulses connected with the physical existence of human. This includes all his basic needs: food, shelter, safety, procreation, etc.
Although they are described as three separate structures for easier understanding, the Mental, Emotional and Physical Egos always act together. This unity is often the source of many problems, because, for example, the Emotional Ego “treats” its emotional problems by excessive activity of the Physical Ego: overeating, alcoholism, exaggerated sexual activity…
From the unity and interaction of these three Egos, everything that we perceive in life as negative is born and arises: the desire for power, greed, sadism, lies... Therefore, the only way to overcome them is to renew the connection with your Soul.
Finally, let us add that the Emotional, Mental and Physical Egos are not the same as the Mental, Emotional and Life (Etheric) Body, but portions of energy/consciousness that move freely within layers of aura in some kind of limited self-awareness of their own.
The "proof" of this is Enlightenment, after which the person no longer has an Ego, but still has and uses the Mental, Emotional and Life Body. But after Enlightenment they serve only as instruments for communication with the world, freed at last from the madness of that consciousness which we proudly call Ego.
Actor
As the Ego grows, it quickly realizes that its needs and demands are often in conflict with those of other people, that they are often criticized, humiliated, rejected, and sometimes punished. To bridge the gap between its needs and the rules and restrictions of society, the Ego creates the Actor.
The actor is a temporary psychological Ego mode of behaviour and acting created according to the demands and rules of the society in which the Ego lives, with the goal of adapting and being accepted, fulfilling all the desires and needs that were previously limited and prohibited.
Psychological Mechanism and Needs of Ego
We all know that the word "egoist" means a person who is focused only on himself and his own self-interest, neglecting the needs of other people. Meanwhile, it seems that there are fewer and fewer real egoists. Because egoism has become so subtle and hidden over time, that it is often impossible to notice and understand. We are all egoists, and what makes the difference between people, is only their own awareness of this and their willingness to overcome their egoism to a certain extent.
When looking at the Ego, we can see some basic needs that drive it into action:
Attachment
It is something that happens to us every day and spontaneously: we become attached to certain people, things, ideas, places… and this attachment does not only come from pleasant experiences. Unfortunately, negative experiences create much stronger and longer-lasting attachments, because the stronger the flow of energy, the stronger the connection and the harder it is to break.
The connection occurs mainly for two reasons:
>> because we understand that somewhere out there there is something that we deeply desire or need, so we reach out to it,
>> attachment arising from interpersonal relationships, both good and bad.
This is especially pronounced among the majority of those who emigrated abroad, but still feel attached to their former homeland, even if they lived there extremely hard or were even persecuted.
Although they are physically located several thousand kilometers away from their old homeland, the energetic connections established during growing up and living there, both good and bad, are not broken, but continue to exist, and therefore the exchange of energy between them continues.
Considering that a significant part of their energy remains there, as a result of the connection, an exchange of energy continues. Along with cultural differences, this is probably one of the main reasons why they continue to feel nostalgia for the homeland they left, which prevents them from establishing successful energy connections in the new country.
Affiliation
The Ego simply has need to belong to someone or something.
This is a very strong need, because it does not know who it is, what it is, or what it is worth. The only way to realize itself and its own value, is to do so indirectly through other people's opinions of it. Therefore, everything it does in life, the Ego does for the sake of other people, to impress them, to please them, to be accepted, to receive an assessment and confirmation of its value, as well as a proper place in the pyramid of power.
Belonging ranks high in the Ego's list of values and is crucial to what we call "moral similarity," regardless of what that morality actually is. So, if a person expresses his belonging explicitly, he will occupy a high place in the group or society. A necessary condition for this is the existence of a common tribal consciousness.
This is most clearly seen in those groups or communities in which power is created solely by affiliation, and not by moral, intellectual, emotional, business and other qualities of the individual. Affiliation is to some extent a kind of informal secret brotherhood, the basic philosophy of which is: "We, against Others". Although "We" claim that they exist and act solely for the benefit of "Others", even the most naive observer can see that this is not so. The strength of those who feel themselves as "We" is in their common consciousness, which, like that of ants, is directed by the queen. Therefore, any change in activity and task, to new ones, which may be opposite to the previous ones, does not lead to revolutions and loss of power. They continue their activity with the same determination in the opposite, i.e., now correct direction.
Staying at the top of the food chain, the privileges and power they have are the main goals they successfully achieve by belonging.
Tribal Consciousness
To be accepted into Egoland, you must align your consciousness with the consciousness of the tribal group you wish to belong to.
"Tribal Consciousness" is the Ego-consciousness of a group of people whose concepts are the same or very similar. Any different thinking and behavior is perceived as hostile and treacherous towards the group and, given that it threatens the community, must be defeated and punished. If an individual nevertheless persists in his opinion and behavior, he is expelled from the group for a long time.
Tribal Consciousness functions equally successfully in tribes accross of world, as well as in national, political, business, religious, professional, sports, musical and other “tribes” of ours societies.
Tribal Consciousness is also responsible for elitism, nationalism, racism, fascism (no, it did not disappear) and most of the other “isms”, and it continues to stubbornly push us from one conflict to another.
The Life Philosophy of the Ego
Regardless of differences in race, gender, nationality, religion, education, etc., in each person we can notice a group of life attitudes that are common to all people, which we could call the Life Philosophy of the Ego.
According to it, the Ego:
>> loves you to the extent, that he gets benefit from you
>> respects you as much, as he fears you
>> considers you smart to the extent, that you are more cunning and resourceful than him
>> is happy, exactly to the extent that you are unhappy
ThePermanent Structures of Consciousness
Fairy
The fairy represents the feminine part of your consciousness, containing all the best characteristics that feminine energy can have, and is in that period of life when she has outgrown the age of a girl, but has not yet become a woman.
Unlike the Inner Child, which is sparkling, boundless, full of joy and freedom, the Fairy carries a bouquet of much more peaceful, but deep emotions. There is also a certain note of sadness, a slight pity for the passing of childhood and a premonition that in the future life will not be kind to you. The Fairy is completely free from sexuality and the tension that it brings with it, and if you were looking for another name for her, it would be: the Big Sister.
Everything that the Inner Child cannot heal, because it is beyond its energies, the Fairy will heal. Her love is always unobtrusive, not intense at first glance, it is kind and therefore penetrates into the depths of your being and cleanses even the earliest and most painful traumas. Therefore, stretch out your arms and gently embrace her, allow her Love, Kindness, Sacrifice, Nobility and Compassion to touch the most hidden corner of your being.
Love her, because she (unlike the Inner Child) does not demand much love. Respect her, because she enjoys it, and be gentle with her, because she is perhaps the most valuable part of your being: she demands nothing and gives you so much.
She won't be angry with you, even if you reject her completely, she will just fall into a deep sleep, waiting for you to remember her existence.
Inner Child
Imagine that, due to some kind of temporal time paradox, you immediately returned from your forty years to your early childhood, when you were a child of 6-7 years old, and met such yourself.
Slowly and carefully approach this tender boy or girl, who looks at you shyly, but with a trust that comes from the depths of his/her intuition. Go to him, bend slightly and embrace him in the most spontaneous way, feeling that this is what you should do, and the child's arms return the embrace. While you continue to hold him in your arms, quietly and silently, so as not to frighten him, streams of tears flow down your face, as if you are trying to take on and protect him from the pain that he will experience in growing up. During this meeting, you do not feel the need for words (but if you feel it, express yourself freely in this way too), because you understand each other and communicate on a level deeper and more significant than can be expressed with their help.
After a certain time, when the tears dry up and are replaced by a feeling of joy and happiness, let him go from your embrace, wish him happiness and a carefree childhood and return to your world, to your adult forty-year life.
The meeting that took place was a meeting with your Inner Child.
The Inner Child is a Long-Term Energy Consciousness that every human being has. Its role is significant, because it is the connection between your Soul and the Developing Consciousness of the Soul, that is, you. Like the Fairy, the Inner Child plays a role in releasing you from the repressed and forgotten pain that has accumulated throughout your life, to remind you once again that life is a gift of joy and happiness, despite all the painful things that have happened to you or are about to happen. It is here to help you not drown in hatred, revenge, evil and sadism.
But given its nature, as well as the nature of all other spiritual energies, it will never force you to do anything, but by its very existence it will remind you of itself and will patiently wait for you to remember it, come and embrace it. You have probably already understood that in this way, through this embrace, the connection of the two of you, the Inner Child takes on your accumulated pain and thus heals you. After each such healing, you will feel joyful, alive, flying, happy and perhaps , even begin to smile again.
It is amazing that a small child can heal an adult and much larger child, but fortunately it is so.
