The Sol Computer (1976)
An 8080 based "PC".
Les Solomon had suggested
an "intelligent terminal" for the
Altair Computer, which had
no keyboard or monitor, only
switches and panel lights.
Bob Marsh and Lee Felsenstein
turned this into a standalone
computer, based on the Intel
8080 processor.
It was offered in kit form,
and in two completed versions
in 1976.
Lee Felsenstein went on
to produce :
