Harry Styles Celebrates Halloween with Harryween

Have you gotten into the Halloween spirit? Because Harry Styles did.

The My Policeman actor swapped out his uniform for a cute leather jacket, black jeans, and a sleek hairstyle that portrayed Danny Zuko in Grease. Of course, this isn’t the first time the actor dressed up. It is part of his annual “Harryween” concert celebration.

Styles’ look was a tribute to Danny’s latest outfit in the 1978 film musical, but with a Harry twist. The singer’s leather jacket and jeans are designed with ‘Harryween’ in bright red gemstones on the back.

The award-winning artist didn’t just dress up as a fan-favorite greaser on Monday night. He also performed “Hopelessly Devoted to You” from the Olivia Newton-John movie in front of the sold-out Kia Forum. He headlined the concert with a splendid rendition.

A set of pictures of Newton-John, who died in August, was projected onto the big screen above.

The styles cater to Danny’s character throughout the evening by referencing some lines from Grease in his performance. References of him included ruffling his hair in “Satelite,” flipping a finger gun in the middle of “Daydream,” and playing the Hand Jive in “Adore You.”

Harryween Every Year

However, he wasn’t alone in dressing up for the spooky season. The singer’s band entered the fun with their Grease-inspired looks.

Sarah Jones – the drummer – wore Sandy’s signature black spandex outfit. Meanwhile, Elin Sanberg – the bassist – portrayed Rizzo and Ny Oh – the instrumentalist played Frenchie. Mitch Rowland – the guitarist – played Coach Calhoun, while Yaffra – the keyboardist – portrayed Eugene Felsnic. And Pauli Lovejoy – the percussionist – donned a Pink Lady outfit.

Styles created the tradition of Harryween. Last year, he played on two Halloween-inspired shows at the Madison Square Garden in New York.

During the first night, Styles and the whole band rocked the stage as characters from The Wizard of Oz. Styles dressed as Dorothy and sang “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.”.....Read More
