Episode 1: "I-I'm a member of the choral competition committee!?"
In Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture. Kashi Kota, a third-year student at Hanayama High School, has spent his entire high school life trying to "stay out of sight, out of mind." Still, after losing to a game of rock-paper-scissors, he is forced to become a member of the choral competition committee. The only advantage is that the other member is Fujita, whom he admires. The choral competition is in December, so close to the entrance exam. The whole class is unmotivated, and no one is listening to Kashi. Fujita, who can't bear to see it, suddenly declares, "This class will be aiming to win the choral competition." With this one unexpected statement, the fate of Class 3-C is set in motion instantly.
Episode 2: "Choral competition, aiming to win!"
Kashi is taken aback by Fujita's declaration that they will win the choral competition. The class members were not willing to take up the challenge, saying "It's impossible to win," or "We don't want to win in the first place," Class 3-C's consciousness completely changed when Fujita asked them, "Don't you want the Hanayam High towel?" The next day, Kashi and Fujita begin looking for an accompanist. But none of the experienced pianists in the class would take it on... As Kashi's shoulders slumped, Fujita came up with a "secret" plan.
Episode 3: "Youth is always full of unrequited love"
Yanagida is asked by Kashi and Fujita to be their accompanist, and when Sakurama praises his piano skills, Yanagida's face turns red, and he is very bashful. Kashi sees the cool Yanagida's unexpected appearance and realizes Yanagida has a crush on her, but Fujita can't stay and leaves the room. Kashi looks at Fujita with sadness, but Yanagida, who says he has been indebted to Fujita since they were kids, tells him the reason for Fujita's insistence on participating in the choral competition.
