CYCLING MOUNTAIN BIKE

CYCLING MOUNTAIN BIKE
As the name suggests, mountain biking involves using special bicycles to ride off-road bikes in mountainous areas or very hilly areas.

Mountain bikes are similar to other bicycles, but incorporate features designed to improve durability and performance in rough terrain, including air or coil spring shocks, larger and wider wheels and tires, stronger frame materials, and mechanical or hydraulic disc brakes.

History
In the 1970s, mountain biking developed into a fringe sport in California. Riding an off-road bike is not new, but the development of new bikes that enjoy such terrain has been very important. The bikes had thicker tires, faster gear changes, drum brakes and groundbreaking suspension. These bikes gave thrill-seeking cyclists much more freedom, and the sport of mountain biking was born.

Members of the velo club mount tamalpais in California are generally credited with settling mountain bikes as a sport. They invented the Repack Downhill race, which takes place regularly between 1976 and 1979, just across San Francisco's famous Golden Gate Bridge. The race attracted riders from close and far, and the media soon began to become interested.  스포츠토토

Equipment.
Mountain bikes differ from other bikes in that they incorporate features that primarily aim to increase durability and improve performance in rough terrain. Most modern mountain bikes have 26, 27.5 or 29 inch diameter tires (typically 1.7 to 2.5 inches wide) and a wider, flat or upwardly rising handlebar, giving riders greater control.

Accessories
Glasses that make little or no difference to those used in other cycling sports help protect against debris during walks. Yellow on cloudy days or shaded filter lenses protect your eyes from tension on clear days.

In general, shoes have soles with handles similar to hiking boots to pick up obstacles that are difficult to ride, unlike smooth bottom shoes used in road cycling. The axis of mountain bike shoes is generally more flexible than road cycling shoes.

Clothes are chosen for comfort and the ability to withstand falls when making physical efforts in the countryside. Road touring clothing is often inappropriate because of its delicate fabric and structure.

From simple water bottles to water pouches with a beverage tube in a light backpack known as a moisture pack, the moisture system is important for mountain bikers in the countryside.

GPS systems are sometimes added to the handlebars and are used to monitor the progress of the trail.

Mountain bikers often need bicycle tools and extra bicycle tubes to get help with flat tires or other mechanical problems that drivers have to deal with.

Protective gear
Helmets. The use of helmets in any form is almost universal among mountain bikers.

Body armor and pads, commonly referred to as "armers," are intended to protect limbs and bodies in the event of a collision.

Gloves relieve pressure and friction to increase comfort when riding and protect against superficial hand injuries.

First aid kits are often carried by mountain bikers to clean, cut clothes, scratch, and splint broken limbs.

Classification
There are four main events in mountain biking: cross country, downhill, enduro, and 4X racing. Each of these training tests various aspects of fitness, strength, and riding skills.

a dangerous situation.

Mountain bikes are a great way to exercise while going outside to enjoy sightseeing, but they are not without danger. Common mountain bike injuries include bruises, scratches, broken collar bones and wrist injuries," says Dr. Stuart Willick, a sports medicine specialist.
