How Does It Work

Who is Eligible to Apply
The students need to fulfil some of the requirements to get this scholarship. Such as,
➔ The students have to be from a Chevening-eligible country or territory. The refugees who are staying in any non-Chevening nations but a citizen of Chevening state can also apply for this scholarship
➔ The learners have to return to their home country for a minimum of two years after completing their degree
➔ While submitting the application for getting the scholarship the scholars have to complete all components of their undergraduate degree
➔ The international scholars must have at least 2 years (2800 hours) of work experience
➔ The students who hold British citizenship or British and another citizenship cannot apply for this scholarship
➔ The employee of Foreign, Commonwealth and Development office, employees of British Embassies or High Commissions, the British Home Ministry, Defense Ministry, Employees and staff of British Council are not eligible to apply
➔ The scholars who are staying in a non-Chevening state as refugees
➔ The employee, former employee, relative of Her Majesty’s ministry cannot apply as well
➔ The students who have studied in the UK previously with UK government funds cannot get the scholarship
