Kim Hye-sung (24), the main infielder of the Kiwoom Heroes in professional baseball, has been selected as the winner of the 2023 KBO Fair Play Award.
The Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) announced today (11th), "The KBO Commission selected Kim Hye-sung as the winner of this year's Fair Play Award last month," adding, "We will deliver the trophy at the KBO Golden Glove Awards today."
The Fair Play Award is an award given to athletes who have set an example for others with their sports-based attitude and acceptance of judgment, and was established in 2001 and has received 20 winners until last year.
Kim Hye-sung won his first individual fair play award, and Kiwoom will produce winners for the second consecutive year following last year (Lee Ji-young).
