More than 58.3% of casinos' gambling profits are paid by out-of-state gamblers to rich casino insiders.  슬롯

On Thursday, the Massachusetts Game Commission released its findings over the years, titled "The Social and Economic Impact of Gambling in Massachusetts." The study looked at Plainridge's customers and their gambling habits. The study aimed to measure the state's economic benefits after Massachusetts regulated commercial casinos within its borders. As you can recall, in 2011, state officials passed the Extended Game Act, which allowed the establishment of three casino resorts and one slot.

They had visited casinos in other states a year before the Plainage opened in 2015, and they traveled to Connecticut or Rhode Island to enjoy gambling hobbies, and non-gambling activities in casinos accounted for 16.3% of their total sales.

According to the study, 11.4% of casino customers are residents of Plainville, while the remaining 66.5% are residents of other Massachusetts cities. In addition, the majority of players in Plainridge are older than the entire Massachusetts population, and casino customers usually have good household incomes ranging from $50,000 to $100,000. 87% of Plainridge's customers were found to prefer electronic racetracks and electronic games.

The Economic Benefits of the Plainage Park Casino
Plainridge Park Casino is operated by Penn National Gaming (PNG). Opened in 2015, it became the first commercial casino in Massachusetts. Plainridge is a slot-only location, but it plays a key role in the state economy. Casino laws are expected to meet the main goal of bringing new revenue streams in the state and boosting the economy. Separately, in mid-May this year, Plainridge was found to be the strongest employer in Plainville.

In real numbers, players spent a total of $172.5 million on both gambling and non-gambling activities at Plainage Park. The report estimated that nearly $100 million was "recovered" from players who would have spent money in out-of-state casinos. The state collected $81 million in income and other casino taxes during its first year of casino operations.
