What is the FRM Part 1 and 2?

FRM Exam Pattern

  • FRM certification are now administered twice a year for Part 2 candidates and three times a year for FRM Part 1 applicants.
  • Both exams may be taken on the same day. It is not suggested, though, considering the scope of the programme.
  • A applicant has one year to pass both levels of the exam.

Course Eligibility for FRM

There are no prerequisites for taking the FRM Certification Exam. The FRM Part 1 test is also open to graduate students who are in their first year of study. However, a few prerequisites must be satisfied in order to receive the FRM Certification:

  • Within four years of submitting an application for the Part 1 test, you must have passed FRM Part 1 and 2 of the FRM Program.
  • Within five years of passing the Part 2 test, you must have a minimum of two years of relevant job experience in the risk profile.
