Modi in 1951. Upon assuming the company’s leadership in 2012, Dr. Modi charted a multi-pronged approach for its corporate growth. With a vision to revolutionize the life sciences industry, he has played a pivotal role in establishing research, manufacturing, sales and distribution for Cadila Pharma across the globe. Today, Cadila has a strong global presence with operations in the USA, Japan, CIS, and Africa, with an overseas formulations manufacturing unit at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Being a biotechnologist himself, Dr. Modi has played a significant role in developing Cadila’s Biotechnology Division into a strong Research and Development unit, focusing on new developments and breakthrough innovations.
