Meditation practice does not cause mental illness.

If a person practices some form of non-Ego meditation, it can lead to improvement or complete healing the light disorders of his mental state.

2. "Meditation is expensive, you have to pay to learn from a teacher who comes from far away Asia."

Most meditation techniques can be learned from books or many websites. Some meditation techniques require direct instruction from a teacher, which entails some financial costs, ranging from expenses to other hobbies and recreational activities.

3. “To start meditating, we must be members of some sect or religion from the Far East”?

Some meditations originate from a specific culture or religion (Hindu, Buddhist...), so practitioners of these meditation techniques also adopt the lifestyle, clothing style and customs that are characteristic of them. However, this is not a prerequisite for practicing a specific type of meditation.

4. “Meditation requires effort and concentration”.

Ego-meditation methods require control of body posture, control of breathing rhythm, direction and control of thoughts, visualization of meditation objects or process... and so on.

Non-Ego meditation methods do not require any effort or concentration.

5. “If we begin to meditate, should we give up our social career, enrichment and enjoyment of sense pleasures?”

Other type of meditation has a developmental goal and its application will lead to overcoming the achievement of social and material goals.

No, of course we can't.

The practice of meditation is an act of your Free Will, and therefore you must determine the purpose of the meditation practice. But you should know that any focus on achieving goals, in particular: Enlightenment, will be counterproductive, because this is a strong and dynamic state of Ego activity.

The practice of non-Ego type of meditation, leads to the spontaneous elimination of the Ego.

No, thanks to the spontaneous erasure of the Ego carried out by your Soul, which occurs from meditation to meditation, eventualy some negative or selfish content, disappears from you, while your structure of consciousness remains completely preserved and more stable, compared to the state while you were subject to the influence of your Ego.

10. “Is it necessary to erase the Ego?”

The Ego is not a part of the human consciousness, but until the fourth year of life it is formed by spontaneous sensory, emotional and mental reactions of the baby/child. The practice of non-Ego meditation spontaneously leads to the erasure of the meditator's Ego. When the Spiritual Energies of the Universe clears the last part of the Ego from the aura, then the meditator spontaneously enters the state of Enlightenment. Yes, it's necessary.
