The Rise of Transhumanism

 

The speaker is reacting to the

concept of transhumanism,

which equates all human thought

with unknown computer programs

that run in our brains.

 

Transhumanists like Kurzweil

eagerly anticipate "The Singularity"

perhaps around 2040, when all

humans will be artificially computer

enhanced.

 

He (Braden) argues that we are

much more than that, and he has

many FACTS to back up his position.

 

He speaks of many things that

I have thought of myself...
