Abando, the head of the government who spent a special time in his hometown while injured

Anyang's general manager visited the Philippines to attend the group league of the East Asian Super League (EASL) for the 2023-2024 season. Rens Abando (26), a guard of the Asian quarter, was also specially included in the expedition list. Although he cannot play due to injury, he has decided to accompany the team so that the team can have a good time in his hometown.

During an away game against Trofang Giga on Monday, the team cheered for its teammates on the bench. On the eve of the game, the team had an interview with Philippine media. More than 20 Filipino journalists reportedly attended the interview. The team was asked questions about the severity of the injury, physical condition, and playing an active role in the KBL. Initially, there was no schedule for an interview, but the organizers of the event pushed for an official interview at the request of the Philippine media. "The local community was enthusiastic about the African country. I did not play in the game, but I felt like I was having a good time on the bench," said Jeong Kwan-jang, an official at the club.

Unlike Jeong Kwan-gwan, who returned to Korea after finishing his EASL competition, the team remained in the Philippines. As he needs more time to recover from his injury, he will stay in the Philippines for about two weeks. He will return to Korea around Feb. 2.

During an away game against Goyang Sono in the regular league of the 2023-2024 Jeonggwanjang Professional Basketball league, he fell down by foreign player Chinanu Onuaku, injuring two lumbar vertebrae. Since then, he has focused only on recovering from his injury. He underwent another checkup before leaving for an away game in the Philippines. He has confirmed that his bones started to get stuck, but he will need more time before he returns to the court.  스포츠토토

The team had a hard time during the cold winter season of the 2022-2023 season in Korea. This time, the team is facing another major difficulty due to injury. After recharging time to take another leap forward in his hometown, he will return to Korea in a healthier manner.
