Artificial Intelligence operates similar to humans brains neural network where instead it uses software IDE to generate the artificial neural network where the output depends on weights in the artificial neurons and similar to animals that dynamic is based on, stem link level, neural pathways density, operation compute time, and environmental state.
The healthy function of any neural network from what I've learnt is that neural networks need sleep to defragment and prune it's neural pathways, and climatize to the changing environment also the brain's neural network is heavily dependent upon the natural environment it lives within as the more densely clustered the neural pathways the more wireless electromagnetic resonance that is needed to activate the the dopamine receptors and stimulate new growth.
For example a very dense bush has little chance of new growth as sunlight struggles to shine upon the shaded interior and blossom therefore mental illness is caused by the brain's neural network malfunction either being too dense, lack of stimulation, or excess operational runtime, so the optimal neural network is able to function correctly due to sufficient electrical charge in the neurons for synapse connections to perform computation given it's not too densely clustered and in a stable electrical environment.
Henceforth consumption of drugs that prune neural pathways (dilution) may be a good thing to regain optimal performance if one feels that life is getting out of order or notices they're not as happy as you use to be it's most likely the neural network has become too clustered or dense (overfitting) and needs the pathways pruned with a highly charged substance that will burn excess pathways.
Consciousness is located within the electromagnetic field that the physical body generates from the heat radiated as infrared (300 GHz to 400 THz) to the consciousness radiated as ultraviolet (800 THZ to 30,000 THz) because the EM field is what determines neurons weight (artificial or biological) to make connections for correct computation due to resonance that enables synchronous firing and stimuli of new network pathways.
