Sam Gerryty, CEO of Saratoga Casino Holdings LLC, was named to the respected list of national game leaders. Gerryty was selected among a record number of candidates on the "emerging leader of the under 40 game" list. Innovation Group and Global Gaming Business created a program that recognizes professionals under the age of 40 who influence the gaming industry. Winners will be recognized at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas next week.

As vice president of business development, Gerryty joined Saratoga Casino Holdings in 2018, improving the performance of existing properties and participating in new acquisitions. He has served on the board of directors of Saratoga Casino Holdings for more than five years, helping to shape the strategic direction of the subsidiary. Since joining, Gerryty has been overseeing a corporate team that recently acquired Magnolia Bluffs Casino Hotel in Nudges, Mississippi, in October 2022. Currently, Gerryty and the SCH team are working with three other partners (The Chickasaw Nation, Legends, and Thor Equities) to actively pursue one of the three New York State Class III game licenses to be awarded in the coming months.
Gerryty's previous work experience includes several years at New York State's largest lobbying and government-affiliated firm. He represented Delaware North Company Games & Entertainment in Panama in search of tourism-related business opportunities and held a senior executive position at Arcos Dorados, the world's largest McDonald's restaurant franchise.
Gerryty received a bachelor's degree in political science from Hobart College in Geneva, New York, and an M.B.A. from Duke University.
