Action and excitement are rushing to the Newcastle casino as the partnership between Newcastle Casino and Remington Park opens up a new off-track betting area located in the south building.
Off-track betting officially began on March 9, but the new district will host a special event to celebrate the Kentucky Derby on May 6. Customers can enjoy free food, drink specials, and a variety of prizes at the off-track betting area.
"We're excited to host fun events around the Kentucky Derby as well as introduce off-track betting at the Newcastle casino," said Newcastle casino general manager Ryan Sykes. "This new amenity allows guests to experience the atmosphere that these big races create, and enjoy the fun and excitement of horse racing right here in Newcastle."
The new off-track betting area features 12 flat HDTVs that offer great coverage of the race. Guests also have access to 18 individual viewing stations that are ready to use out-of-the-box.
"We have tried to provide our guests with a fun and convenient way to participate in exciting horse races," said Sykes. "Remington Park has provided us with excellent partnerships and opportunities to provide our new amenities to Newcastle customers. The new off-track betting area will include horse racing from all over the country."
