A Level Course is an advanced and a second-level course in the DOEACC Scheme under Information Technology after O level. It is equivalent to an Advanced Diploma in Computer Applications as recognized by the Government for job purposes. Students who want to pursue the A Level Course have to undergo the entrance exam that is conducted by the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, NIELIT. The A Level Course abbreviation is Advanced Subsidiary Level Examination. The course usually starts in the month of January and July every year. Students can pursue the A Level Course after completing the O Level Course. Students who have completed their O Level & A Level course, then becomes equivalent to BCA i.e Bachelor of Computer Application.
