HCL Digital Solutions has been transitioning its customers to a modern licensing model called HCL Domino Complete Collaboration Business Edition (CCB), which simplifies server capacity and licensing uncertainty. This model allows per-user access for all applications, including email, and includes unlimited Guest Users for public website access. With the upcoming HCL Domino V12 release, CCB and its add-on, HCL Domino Complete Collaboration eXternal User (CCX), entitlements will be enhanced.
CCX offers full access to Domino and Domino Volt applications for external users, catering to B2B and advanced B2C scenarios. HCL also offers add-on features for CCB licenses, including HCL Domino Volt licensing and access to tools like HCL Sametime Premium.
HCL Domino Volt can be licensed for all CCB users. Licensing HCL Domino Volt as an add-on covers all CCB and CCX users, enabling the use of HCL Enterprise Integrator, HCL SAP Connector, and HCL Link on all HCL Domino servers under CCB entitlements.
HCL Domino Servers under CCB entitlements are exclusively accessible by authorized users, Guest Users, and CCX Authorized Users. The known Guest Use Cases involve authenticated external users with Reader permissions. This approach allows users to access and modify content, enabling various application development scenarios.
