TROF5 Is Being Developed On UPBGE, Unreal Engine 5 and Clickteam Fusion 2.5
It will be delayed and 'compressed' to preserve memory and RAM limit. G.P.D Mode, TROF: Online and Adventure Mode will still be there, but they will be separate games that can be downloaded in the main menu. When you already have all of the gamemodes files downloaded, whenever you go to the main menu and click one of the modes, a new program will open up and the previous TROF5 main menu tab will close, teleporting you to the mode you clicked. Plus if you dont know the reason as to why the game is being developed on three different engines, It's simply the engines being used to run the other various gamemodes that will be featured in TROF5. Story Mode will be on Unreal Engine 5, G.P.D Mode on Clickteam Fusion 2.5, Adventure Mode on Unity/ Partly GameMaker, and TROF: Online on Clickteam Fusion 2.5. TROF5 Story Mode was originally being developed in Unity, but was switched onto UE 5 due to choices for going for more realism.
Backup copy files are also being made during the development, in case anything in the game gets deleted.
Carson
In this version of TRTF5, Carson's hand haves a wrist-watch for additional detail, and his shirt sleeves are visible. Carson's model was made with ZBrushCoreMini.
Carson is also strapped with tactical guns such as a Glock 17, a M4A1 rifle, a Shotgun and a C4 bomb. At some point during the gameplay, you can try using the guns on one of the torture suits, but it wont affect them and will fail, and you might possibly die getting jumpscared. You can only use your guns against the Torture Device or The Machine, by killing it.
Trivia: Carson stayed in the factory for several days.
Introduction Scenery
You begin at your garage. You could pick up some items in the garage before arriving to the factory, such as batteries and your car key. There's WoodBuddy sitting at the corner and a car headed for your destination. You can enter in it, and select the option to drive to Fazbear Inc. The garage door slowly opens, revealing the neighborhood outside at night, then the screen fades to black and car starting sounds.
Upon your arrival at the factory, you can hear crickets chirping, glow-worms, and lighten-up city buildings at a distance outside the factory. You can also see electricity posts of the street outside the factory's wall. There's a OST playing during this. When you open the door and enter the building, a cutscene plays.
Cutscene: *Carson opens the door and enters the building*
*2D view of Carson's hand holding the flashlight and illuminating the place*
*The camera changes to other areas of the location: A hallway full of pipes, hanging out wires with short-circuit electric discharges, steam coming out, a crate with Freddy Fazbear's mask in it, a old Lockjaw suit laying down by the wall, then a water leaking pipe*
*Suddenly all the light goes out, everything turns pitch black and goes silent and Carson gets shocked*
*The light turns on again and a OST plays*
The Return of Freddy's 5
The cutscene ends, the gameplay begins, and the player is able to move on a click-point system throughout the place. The player needs to find a manhole on some spot of the location, because the door is locked and barricated. Upon finding the manhole, the player opens it, climbs down a stair, and descends into the sewers of the factory (Floor A).
Floor 1 Gameplay
The first part of floor 1 would be all cinematic, photorealism, CGI effects, sounds, graphical simulations and filmic scenery.
At the first part of floor 1 (the one where you're in a cage) you would need to search for a key left around somewhere. You could crouch to a specific spot, inspect the crates, look closer, and etc, while the animatronics come and go from the outside, looking at you through the cage. Lets use, for example, you are crouching down, inspecting a pile of stacked up crates with your flashlight to search for the key. Suddenly you hear a sound and you look up and see Torture Lockjaw looking down at you through the cage. You shine your flashlight on his face and he goes away, and you continue to search for the key. It would be this level of theatricality and drama.
If you dont shine your light on a animatronic, they will jumpscare you. But it wont be just a animation of them showing up from nowhere on the screen and the background environment unaffected. Actually, it would be like this: You forget to shine your flashlight on Torture Lockjaw. He is opening the cage and rushes towards you, jumpscaring you and ending your fate.
Floor 1 isn't solely about finding a key or keys and opening the door though. There will be parts where you'll simply need to find the exit and escape while the torture suits haves to make it hard for you, others where you'll need to solve puzzles and etc.
There's a part in Floor 1 where the player needs to pull a crank lever that will make the machine's chain drive begin to move along with the gears and wheels.
There will be parts in Floor 1 that there wont be only one single door for you to proceed. Instead, as you find the keys, there will occasionaly be two or more doors available for you, which are completely open for your decision wheter you choose to go in door B or door A, and will lead you to different parts of different floors, although alway in a sequential and numerical order (Floor 1 > Floor 2 < Floor 3...).
Floor 2 Engineering
Upon entering Floor 2, the player would engage in new activities and puzzles. Floor 2 main gameplay elements are fixing machinery in order to proceed, and finding exits.
Half of All Animatronics Are Against You On Floor 11
When the player would reach the 11th floor of Fazbear Inc, almost all torture suits would confront them.
Surrealism
TRTF5 is going to make fantasy look like reality. No fairytale endings, no wonders, only a cold and dystopian reality. This is why Carson never gets a inherently "good" ending as good in where everything is saved.
9 Endings:
There are 9 endings in the game. The endings are shaped on the actions you make. There are rooms in the game are connected to the endings, the Machine ending ties to the Floor 11 area. Every room is tied to an ending, the black wall on Floor 5 leads to Floor ?.
Story Mode Ending Scene #TortureDevice
When you get in Floor A, Carson gets flashbacks of the entire FNAF and TRTF saga rapidly flashing in his mind (as images on the screen) with sounds and events. Carson made it to the last floor and went insane.
Alison gets into the Torture Device and you need to fight against him. The Torture Device is the final boss of the game.
At the ending scene, Carson gets inside the Torture Device, twitching as the several knives of the suit stab him from head to toe and sucks all blood out, needles activate on the eyes, Carson lets out a last screech of pain for life. The Torture Device eyes turns on and Carson just stays laying there.
Static glitchy red words reading "IT WILL SPREAD" flashes several times on the screen. Suddenly, lamps lightens up one by one.
The camera changes to views of all the previous floors of the facility, then something starts happening on each floor, electricity starts to dead-circuit, Floor 2 begins to catch on fire, all the other floors as well. The building begins to spontaneously catch on flames and it spreads. Roars and screeches of torture suits echoes through the entire building. Then it cuts again to a view of Floor 11, showing flames coming in and the Torture Device sitting by a distance at the wall.
The fire gets stronger and the factory begins to collapse and falling apart, as if a earthquake was happening. The building is falling into pieces, roars of torture suits echoes around the floors, being incinerated, smoke is everywhere, everything is being destroyed.
*It shows a image of the Torture Device bleeding sitting on the wall, with flames on the screen and fire sparks, aswell as a heat distortion effect by the fire and cinder particles around*
Ultimately, it shows the entire Fazbear Inc burning from the outside, down to ashes, everything in pieces and scorched, burning smokes, then it cuts.
*The screen begins to black out*
After this, the player is awarded with a minigame of Carson's suicide symbolizing human sacrifice, and all the animatronics disappear.
*Electro Theme Song- The Amazing Spiderman 2 OST Hans Zimer/Pharrell starts playing*
*Credits screen show up*
Trivia: In this ending, the destiny is sucessfully fulfilled and the cycle is broke. All madness and turmoil ends there.
Normal Ending
True Ending
The True Ending is achieved if the player enters the Torture Device after collecting all the plushes. Carson's death scene will play black and the factory's fire alarm will burst out as he dies inside the torture suit and the factory catches on fire.
Bad Ending 1 #Rampage/Outbreak
The bad ending 1 is achieved if you decide to destroy the Torture Device, freeing all the other Torture Suits and releasing them to wreak havoc outside. There will be a scene of the machine going insane and overloading and rapidly creating as much torture animatronics as possible before exploding, and the rest of the factory machinery doubles the numbers even more and over-produces randomly jointed together killer machines. Then it will cut to a scene of several torture animatronics escaping out of Fazbear Incorporated and showing a silhouette of entire crowds of several torture animatronics running around everywhere in hordes and the roars of several torture animatronics being heard and more torture animatronics keep coming out of Fazbear Inc. as sirens plays in the background and they go into storming the outside, then it cuts to a "EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM" screen, alerting about a outbreak of hundreds of killing machines out on the streets, insinuating technical difficulties in the outside world. During this scene, the sky haves a apocalyptic tone, flames and torture animatronics running everywhere.
After this, the player is awarded with a minigame with Carson in a black room and Alison's fedora, and the text "PLEASE DIE" shows up.
The new animatronics that were created during the scene are as dangerous if not more vicious than the torture animatronics we see in-game, given that they wield super dangerous objects like blades, flamethrowers, chainsaws, and etc. Many people will die due to the accident you caused and the nemesis/destiny wont be over, the cycle still wasn't broke.
Trivia: During the ending, you can hear a muffled, glitchy radio-like voice of a woman screaming "They're out, they're out" and a voice repeatedly uttering the phrase "Warning, stay at home" on the background. You can also hear sounds of objects being broke and people being slaughtered. It shows a pic of a red sky with a city in a silhouette and a silhouette of a torture animatronic roaring.
The torture animatronics most likely attacked at night due to their photosensitive vulnerabilities. They've broke into people's doors and killed them in their houses, slaughtering civilians in the city through various brutal forms of killing such as crushing their whole heads with their jaws and murdering them with their equipment. The police and military force were being taken down and slaughtered by the animatronics aswell. They were trying to defend the population but were struggling with the animatronics who matched the same power as them.
The torture animatronics killed people on the streets on hindsight, broke into houses and destroyed objects on their way, storming at everywhere. Many of them killed about ten thousands of people, leaving trails of bodies and blood on the city but were successfuly taken down after 24 hours by the military.
It was stated by SamuraiKitty that there were over millions of torture suits in this scene, and a few more coming out of the factory.
Due to legal reasons, the National Emergency Broadcast System has been changed. No voice is heard in the broadcast. One tone is repeatedly played. The title of the EBS glitches and flashes repeatedly.
The reporter's voice was made with iMovie.
The player turns responsible for a genocidal rampage because they've freed the torture animatronics after destroying T.D. and let them go out and cause a outbreak.
December, 1st update: This ending was originally going to be a animatronic armageddon/apocalypse but the concept has been reimagined to instead just be a catastrophe.
Bad Ending 2 #SuddenCollapse
The second bad ending is achieved if the player decides to abandon the factory and drive back to return home, resulting in the building falling apart for unknown reasons. After this, the player is awarded with a minigame of BFP, the Kitty FazCat child, Alison and the victims of the missing children incident.
In this ending, the destiny isn't fulfilled, and Alison is still alive, as represented by the minigame of Alison's fedora staying there.
The player also plays a minigame where the torture animatronics invades his house, as if Carson cant escape them by just not going back. The house minigame is a nightmare about Carson being paranoid of the animatronics he saw in Fazbear Inc. and dreaming about them invading his house or hospital room.
Trivia: In this ending, the player is able to see Carson returning back to the entrance of Fazbear Inc, where they would view a scene with Carson inside a car view driving through a dark road back to his home and regressing, then hearing something collapsing and falling down. Carson dies in this scene when a rubble piece of Fazbear Inc. fell down and smashed through the roof of his car.
Bad Ending 3 #
It would show a maze-like 8-bit minigame of Floor 3, where the player controls a character that walks through a endless library, then
Special Ending
The special ending is unlocked after Carson destroys The Machine on Floor 11 of Fazbear Inc.
Cheat Ending
The Photograph Ending
Secret Ending #1
The secret ending could be achieved if the player collected all eight broken toys, and went with any option selected on Floor C or 11. It would show a minigame of a controllable 8-bit character walking through a side-scroll minigame in Fazbear Inc, until they would find
Explosion Ending
If the player turns on all the five generators in Floor 11 and stand still, it will cause the factory to collapse and explode.
Burn Lockjaw Ending
A room will catch on fire when the player is on Floor 11 after destroying The Machine and Lockjaw would hunt them down in the floor. If the player is catched by Lockjaw or destroy Lockjaw they would get the Burn Lockjaw ending.
Stuck in Fazbear Inc. Ending
If the player tries to return home after reaching Floor 11, rubble from the ceilling will fall and block the exits to Fazbear Inc. making Carson forever stuck inside the factory. There is a parallel ending to Stuck in Fazbear Inc. where Carson manages to successfully escape the building before it catches on fire and falls apart.
