Re: Nikola's Electric Car
Nikola Tesla took a
Pierce-Arrow car, and
replaced its gasoline engine
with an 80hp electric motor
of his own design.
It spun at 30,000 rpm,
like the motor of a Dremel
Motor Tool.
He didn't invent a gigantic
battery to power this 80hp
Motor ... (59,600 watts...)
Instead, he built a vacuum tube
circuit, using 12 commercially
available tubes, and plugged
two 3" steel rods into the
circuit box.
The vacuum tube circuit
was not providing power
to the motor.
The RODS were...!
Tesla had discovered a
different principle of
Electromagnetics,
which he termed
Non-Hertzian, or Scalar waves.
Theta waves.
The vacuum tube circuit
was a high frequency oscillator
or more likely, two oscillators.
These oscillators were
connected to the two rods,
causing them to act as
a rectifier for ultra-high
frequency electromagnetic
radiation that is emitted from
the sun, earth, and stars.

The RODS themselves were
thus the power source, which
supplied the 59 kilowatts
of high frequency power
to the high frequency AC motor.
The 30,000 rpm motor was
fluid coupled through the
transmission to power
the drivetrain.
No Batteries required.
These "Theta Waves" behave
differently from standard concepts of electronics.
Think of Radio.
First, there was AM.
Amplitude Modulated
Electromagnetics.
Then there was FM.
Frequency Modulated
Electromagnetics.
Both use antennas...
but how do antennas
get the signal in the
first place ?
Scalar Waves.
There is a spatial distance
between the antenna and
the ground plane.
The spatial distance infers
a difference in the surrounding
electromagnetic environment.
Theta Waves couple to
electrons in a wire, like
a high-speed motor connects
to a low rpm drivetrain.
Theta Waves are without
mass, and thus achieve
infinite velocity.
Electrons, and photons
are limited to the speed
of light.
Theta Waves are capable
of influencing all other
"Matter Based" physical laws.
Thus, Instantaneous
power transmission,
and Thought.
Warp Drive ...?
Notice that the two nacelles
of the Enterprise are similar
to Tesla's steel rods ...
Thus, Warp Drive would not
produce power from batteries,
it would rectify it from
the Scalar Wave differential
between the nacelles.
Read what Tesla published
in 1931...
In 1931 Tesla announced in The Brooklyn Eagle that :
"I have harnessed the cosmic rays and caused them to
operate a motive device.
More than 25-years-ago I began my efforts to harness the cosmic rays and I have succeeded.
Electric power is everywhere present, in unlimited
qualities.
This new power for the driving of the world's
machinery will be derived from the energy which operates in the universe,
without the need for coal, gas, oil, or any other fuel".

I have heard some minor variations on the story. The 3 inch steel rods were 'iron cores' for Tesla's 'Resonant Frequency Transformers' inside the box. By 'tickling' the iron rods into Resonance, the magnetically induced coupling to the transformers secondary was amplified by several orders of magnitude to provide the necessary current to run the large 80 HP AC electric motor. This is a similar effect of an opera singer hitting High C and shattering crystal glasses. The force of her voice is amplified by several orders of magnitude by hitting the resonant frequency of the glass in question. A 1/4" diameter steel rod will go into resonance at approximately 4 KC. There will be some frequency variation based on the actual length of the rod.

in the hundreds of Megahertz...
