What is a Bipolar Disorder?

It is a kind of mental disease, in which the mind is either sad and unhappy for several weeks or months in a row, or remains extremely happy. Negative thoughts come in a state of apathy. It is a disease that occurs in one person out of 100 people at some time.

This disease often occurs in children between 14 and 19 years old. This is a disease that has affected both women and men. The special thing about this disease is that after 40 years, the chances of getting it decreases.

Mental illness, these are two different terms, which combine a major mental disorder. One means a change in mood, which is natural and the other is depression. These two disorders give rise to bipolar disorder in the individual.

A person suffering from Bipolar disorder has to face many problems in maintaining and working in the society.

What are the causes of bipolar disorder

The exact cause of bipolar disorder is unknown, but it can be caused by any reason such as: –

  • Neurotransmitter imbalance
  • Genetic factors
  • Psychological factors like mental stress
  • Depression medications
  • Neurological disorders, diseases like diabetes

What are the symptoms of bipolar disorder?

Change of mood in a minute or moment
