Looking for a good dental clinic?

That friend suggested one but it’s too expensive…. saw one on Instagram, but when you actually went there…it wasn’t as clean ??

Don’t worry! You have landed on the right page…we will tell you three simple steps to choose your dentist. Read on

STEP 1: do your own research; these days most of the information if not all, is available on the internet.

QUALIFICATIONS: most websites mention the basic details like qualifications of their doctors. Just like you will go to a cardiologist for a heart trouble and a eye specialist for your eyes check-up, and not the other way round…. Similarly there are specialties in dentistry. A post graduate called MDS – masters in dental surgery! Lookout for these details, make an informed choice.

LOCATION:  look for a dentist near you, someone who is easily accessible, or has a good connectivity with a public transport. Simple things like a parking space and an easy reach can make a difference.

HYGIENE AND SANITATION– right from the time you enter the reception area of a dental clinic, you should be able to feel a clean and calming environment. The instruments to the staff, their uniforms, everything should be clean to give a hygienic feel.

STEP 2: schedule a visit to the dentist, even if it is for a regular check-up, or for a cleaning session. Ask questions, how much time and patience does the doctor gives you for a simple procedure sets the base for your future interactions, but do not forget to be polite !!! While at the clinic you can judge about the sanitisation level. Do not blindly rely on the google reviews, in today’s day and age, it is an easy task to manipulate and give false reviews, both good and bad.

STEP 3:  finally now if after your research and interaction you feel you are at the right place, they put all your trust in your dentist. A good oral hygiene is not only a requirement for healthy teeth, it’s a lifestyle, to be maintained from childhood to old age…and it works best if done as a team work…you along with your dentist. Go for regular check ups..it leads to early detection of any issues, hence they can be solved with minimum invasion and minimum expense. Happy smiling to you
