Representatives of international institutions and organizations, managers of non-governmental organizations, intellectuals, academics, writers and artists continue to make statements of support for the new step that has been started at the world level for the freedom of the People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan and the solution to the political problem for the Kurdish people.
The Co-president of the Confederation of South African Trade Unions (COSATU), Sdumo Dlamini, made a statement to the press within the framework of the action and stated that Mandela's international rules are not being applied in Imraliye and called for the freedom of Abdullah Ocalan to join the action.
At the beginning of his statement, Sdumo drew attention to the conditions of Kurdish People's Leader Ocalan in Imraliye. Tsubani informed that the level of isolation in Imraliye is 'dangerous' and said: "With the innovative actions of COSATU to eliminate the violations of the rights of the Kurdish leader, comrade Abdullah Öcalan and political prisoners, we call They are trying to implement Mandela's internationally accepted rules and put an end to the isolation. Fellow Abdullah Öcalan is the leader of the PKK. The Kurdish people are still fighting for freedom and freedom from oppression.
Abdullah Ocalan was seen as a great threat to the Turkish state because of his ideas and people, this conspiracy was developed. In 1999, he went to meet Nelson Mandela's friend, was detained and then arrested. The purpose of this was to weaken the PKK and end its struggle. But these plans failed. Comrade Abdullah Öcalan had a political life with Nelson Mandela. Mandela's lawyer, Essa Moosa, stated that the isolation of Abdullah Ocalan's friend is even more severe than that of Mandela. At the rally in Germany, Mandela's friend gave this message: "We know what cruelty means in the country. We know the pain of a woman whose child is missing. We know what culture and human race mean when it is violated." Comrade Mandela's words in the comparison between South Africa under the apartheid regime and the Kurdish people under Turkish rule for equality, justice and peace bring out the struggle. These ideals define the universality of COSATU.
Therefore, COSATU imposes a moral duty on all progressive movements in Africa and the world for the freedom of Abdullah Öcalan and the rightful struggle of the Kurdish people. COSATU sees the failure of the apartheid regime as a result of international unity. The whole world stood up for Mandela's freedom. By establishing unity, they marched to freedom. Therefore, we call on the unions, the state and all the modern movements of the world to support the campaign for the freedom of Abdullah Ocalan. The words of our struggle or as Nelson said, 'I am a part of the Kurdish resistance. I am one of you'. We call for immediate freedom for Abdullah Ocalan!"
