The renovation also includes a 12-seat full service bar and an upgraded fitness center. The pool is available year-round and the indoor and outdoor pool deck is available year-round for unique events such as cocktail parties and wedding receptions. Resorts proudly signed contracts with local trade unions for this high-profile job.
The focus of the project is a new 248 glass panel folding roof system built on top of the pool, and the resort is the only building in the Atlantic City area to have such a structure. The 20' high enclosure provides a beautiful sunny space and 365 days of energy efficient summer. The enclosure has an air conditioning and heating system which opens and closes the roof when the button is pressed.
The new swimming pool is 50' long x 26' wide with 5'9' deep end and 2'9' shallow end accessible. Water is treated with salt with an advanced filtration system that maintains a crystal clear, spa-like condition without harsh chemicals. In addition, with two-stage protection against bacteria in the water, an ultra-modern ultraviolet system has been installed and also reduces the level of chloramine that can overwhelm indoor swimming pools.
The pool is located on the third floor of the Ocean Tower and offers extensive views of the beach, boardwalk, and sea. More than 100 new rounders have been added to the pool fence and the sundeck. The floor has been refurbished with more than 2,000 Italian hand tiles. The bar has a cabana feel and serves all your favorite cocktails. The pool is open to hotel guests every day. Summer time is from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and adults only swim from 2 p.m.
