4 South Koreans in Top 10

Patti Tawatanakit (25) of Thailand has won the Honda Thailand (total prize money of 1.7 million dollars) on the LPGA Tour. It is the second time that a Thai player has won the championship, which has been held in Thailand since 2006, following Ariya Jutanugarn (29) in 2021.   토토사이트

Tawatanakit started the fourth round of the tournament at the Siam Country Club Old Course (par 72, 6,400 yards) in Chonburi, Thailand on Saturday with a three-shot lead. After cutting five shots with six birdies and one bogey, Tawatanakit shot a 21-under 267 overall, beating runner-up Alvane Valenzuela (27, Switzerland, 20 under par) by one shot. Tawatanakit, who kept the lead with enthusiastic support from home fans throughout the match, received 255,000 dollars in prize money (about 340 million won).

Tawatanakit won his first major ANA Inspiration title since his debut on the tour in 2021. Back then, he drew attention as a "scary rookie" with a long shot of over 300 yards and short game skills. However, his prize money ranking fell to 60th in 2022 and 57th in 2023.

Tawatanakit won the championship in two years and 10 months, the second time in her career on the LPGA Tour. She found confidence by winning the Aramco Saudi Ladies International, a European Tour tournament, on the 18th, and won the tournament for two consecutive weeks.

Four Korean players and three Thai players were included in the top 10 at this year's event. Kim Se-young (31) and Choi Hye-jin (25), who reduced their pars by seven and six on the last day, finished tied for third (18 under par). Kim Hyo-joo (29) and Natakrita Bongtavillap (22) tied for fifth (17 under par), and Yoo Hae-ran (23) and Zarabi Bunchant (15 under par) tied for ninth. Ko Jin-young (29), who participated in this season's first competition, tied for 20th (11 under par).
