The press conference was held at the Chennai Press Club in the capital of the state of Tamil Nadu, Chennai, and many Tamil organizations supported it. The press conference was held in relation to the initiative 'Freedom for Abdullah Ocalan, political solution to the Kurdish problem', which started on October 10 in more than 100 centers.
11 people spoke at the press conference. In the statement, it was requested that the isolation on the Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Ocalan be lifted and Ocalan's freedom be ensured for the democratic political solution of the Kurdish problem.
