All For The Queen is a visual novel like the classic King Arthur tale, but with a gender bender spin (no, not like Fate). Set in a fantasy world like our later medieval times, a young knight captain and a rising star in the army encounters something akin to Excalibur while on campaign; however, the prophecy he receives from the heavens after retrieving it is that he's to become the queen of his country instead of its king, and he turns into a very beautiful woman who barely looks like how he used to. The knights he serves with who saw the transformation tell him to inform the king about this, not because of the prophecy itself, but because he can't do his military duties as a knight with this new body. But instead of leaving for the capitol, the knight hesitates and (badly) continues his duties as he is terrified of the implications of the prophecy and views the only way of fulfilling it as staging a coup to depose the king. When he's eventually forced to tell the king, the king comes up with the brilliant solution for the knight to marry him, which the knight wants to do even less than overthrowing his king. Thus, a decision needs to be made, and it is the only one in the visual novel to keep development simple.
AFTQ will be a 2-route story with a combined 10 hours of reading. After this decision node roughly 60 to 90 minutes in, it will focus either on the knight resisting the king's advances while staying at the castle (and possibly being slowly corrupted by them) or insisting to go back on campaign as a hot lady knight (and possibly being slowly corrupted into leading a military coup). As stated, it will otherwise be a kinetic (linear) visual novel, but like re:Dreamer, there will a point system of 4 player-set variables with 3 values each to adjust the events of the story. That system is called FATE and named after its variables: Fidelity (the MC's loyalty to the country vs the MC's loyalty to the self), Aloofness (how antisocial and introspective vs social and outgoing the MC is), Temper (the MC being calculating and cool under pressure vs the MC being an impulsive hothead), and Emasculation (how feminine the MC is regardless of the transformation itself).
Below is an AI Dungeon test scenario of the concept (before the service got nerfed so badly); excuse the overlaid images, as they're the only screenshots I have:
Yes, the image above loads correctly if you click on it. Not sure why the preview is so messed up.
