The headmaster/leader of the cult received Felix. He was polite at first, even though he just wanted to get rid of the young lynx as fast as possible but he changed his mind after Felix revealed an intriguing secret about the castle: a secret passage located under the main hall, something even the headmaster was unaware of. Felix disclosed that he uncovered that particular secret during one of his lucid dreams.
Intrigued, the cult’s leader allowed Felix to train with his pupils in the secret arts of spellcasting but warned him that if he dared to reveal their secrets, or failed to demonstrate any magical talent within the week, he would abandon the premises (right after having his mind wiped, of course.)
Unfortunately for Felix, he discovered he was unable to cast any spells. No matter how simple or complex, he was unable to cast spells that even rookies could master in a matter of minutes.
He tried all the various magic alternatives he could read about in the castle’s private library to no avail. With just mere days before the time limit, Felix was just about to call it quits and go home.
