The pain that arises from differences in thought patterns arises from the connection of the Mental Ego, which is located in the layers of the human aura, with the thought processes that the person generates. This connection is certainly of an energetic nature and is caused by thought vibrations of a similar spectrum.
Namely, we have already spoken about the fact that the Ego of each person consists of many "patches" of an energetic nature, which spontaneously materialize due to the action of vibrations of the material level of the physical plane, during the reactions of the mental, emotional and life body. After the materialization of a part of the energetic waves which generate these three energetic bodies, and from Developmental Consciousness of the Soul/brain spherically radiate to the end of auric membrane of Universe, the "patch" that materialized-survived after the cessation of expansion and disappearance of the waves of the mental, emotional or life origine, and spontaneously settles in the layer of the aura, which is similar to it in the vibrational sense. When we speak of pain caused by challenging thought patterns, then the "patches" of the Ego-consciousness, created by mental impulses and reactions, are placed in the mental (third) layer of the aura.
This layer 1️⃣ contains the Energies of Functionality, which in vibrational sense are similar to the vibration range of the mental layer of the aura, where with the Energies of Consciousness in a ratio of 9:1 generate the Activated Consciousness of the vibrational spectrum of human thought processes. Thanks to this, dear Children of the Earth, we can think, evaluate and draw conclusions.
Now the "patches" of the Mental Ego, which resides in the mental layer of the aura, supervise, so to speak, all the thought processes that occur in the Developing Consciousness of the Soul, which in the waking state of consciousness resides in the head/brain area of the person. When some interlocutor challenges a certain thought, attitude, or suggestion for resolving a certain situation, generated by the Develooing Consciousnesd of the Soul/person, then the Mental Ego residing in her aura feels threatened, even though it, the Mental Ego, did not generate the said thought, attitude, or suggestion.
The reason for such a reaction of the Mental Ego is clear, and you should look for it in the similar spectrum of vibrations of the thought content generated by the Developing Consciousness of the Soul, on the one hand, and the Mental Ego, on the other, because one of its the most important properties is that it is the ability to identify and copy the contents of consciousness (mental, emotional, life nature), which is accessible to it in a vibrational sense.
Thus, the Ego 2️⃣ intercepts, identifies and takes control of the impulses and reactions that spontaneously arise in a person, and directs them in the direction that it considers appropriate. This direction, determined by the Ego, is always the direction of control, blocking and preventing the development of consciousness of the person in whose aura it resides, as well as of all persons with whom the said Ego, that is, the person in whose aura it resides, comes into contact. As a result, instead of evolving and moving forward, the human race, you, the Children of Earth, stagnate and complicate your incarnations in the karmic-dharmic sense to such an extent, that it represents an insurmountable obstacle to the development of your consciousness and entry into Enlightenment.
