From the time of our ancestors, who supplied their tribe members with food with great difficulty and danger, to today's supermarkets offering everything and anything, food has played an important role in human life.
“But why is nutrition important for spirituality?”
Every food, regardless of its origin and composition, also contains energies of a certain energy spectrum. If these energies are coarse, then when eating they are integrated into the Life Body, which becomes dull and insensitive to the vibrational energies of the higher planes. This is especially true for food energies of animal origin, which with their vibrations change the sensitivity of the human Life Body, so that over time it acquires the sensitivity of the Life Body of an animal. To avoid this, it is advisable not to consume animal products more than two days a week (combined or separate days, it does not matter).
In addition to the negative energy effect, it also has a negative effect on the physical body, even if we are talking about products obtained from animals raised in rural areas by natural feeding, not to mention animal products obtained with the introduction of hormones for accelerated growth and weight gain of animals, higher milk yields, or nitrates and other preservatives added during the processing of animal products.
The danger of chemical contamination also exists in plant foods, but it is much lower, while its effect on the physical body is always beneficial.
Types of Food Products
If we look at this diet review in more detail, we can divide humanity into three groups, namely meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans.
Meat eaters are the largest group and they use all types of meat, fish, poultry in their diet... but also eggs, milk and dairy products are also widely represented in their diet.
Vegetarians are divided, depending on the products they eat, into several groups, namely: Semi-vegetarians, who avoid red meat and use chicken and fish, Pesco-vegetarians, who eat fish, Lacto-vegetarians, who eat only dairy products, Ovo-lacto-vegetarians, who eat eggs and dairy products, Fruit-vegetarians, who eat only fruits, Flexi-vegetarians, who adjust their diet…
Vegans , on the other hand, do not use animal products in their diet and were usually previously part of one of the previous vegetarian groups, so their bodies spontaneously switched to plant foods after many years or decades of such a diet.
It should be said that, unlike some vegans who eat only raw plant foods, regular vegans talk about a normal diet in the climate they live in, but without animal ingredients. Such a diet is tasty and nutritionally complete, because animal milk can be replaced with rice, oatmeal, pearl barley ... milk, meat with fried mushrooms and eggs with the appropriate plant replacement, which can be found in health food stores.
Nutrition and Spirituality
The connection between nutrition and spirituality is usually one-way, meaning that spirituality determines diet and not the other way around, while poor nutrition can only suppress the impulses of higher energies. That is why, after you renew connectio with your own Soul, it will try to develop a relationship with you as much as possible, depending on the degree of your innate sensitivity, and in achieving this goal, a gradual transition to a vegetarian / vegan diet is one of the ways. This process will happen gradually, so as not to cause you any disorders, either in terms of physical health or psychologically.
People who are in the stage of finding their way to spirituality may also be vegetarians or vegans because they feel a strong need to find some way to move towards spirituality, with vegetarianism or veganism being one of the options.
But apart from a healthier diet, this usually does not give the expected results, because without renewing contact with the Soul, success is not possible. When this happens, your Soul will, from meditation to meditation, influence the Life Ego and Life Body, after which the transition to vegetarianism/veganism will occur spontaneously and naturally.
Meat or Plants?
There is an ongoing debate in the world about what is the natural food of humans: meat or vegetables, so although there is a lot of evidence, we will only mention the teeth and the length of the human intestine, and we could say that humanity has not yet realized that the meat diet was just a bad habit from the time when, due to poorly developed agriculture, hunting and fishing were the only way to survive. This stage lasted a long time, and in the last 100-150 years, thanks to the sudden development of science and technology, we were finally able to produce enough food for nutrition.
Why is a plant-based diet important?
In 5th-6th grade of elementary school we learned about the process of photosynthesis, during which plants use one part of the sunlight for their own development, including the growth of fruits.
Oh, how blind we are, aren't we?
Well, photosynthesis has explained it all to us: the fruits of plants and even the plants themselves are accumulations of solar energy-light, which we integrate into our Life Body by eating plant foods, which leads to the purification of gross impulses that can control a person due to energies from animal food. This helps us become more sensitive and receptive to the impulses of the Soul and other spiritual consciousnesses/energies.
Nutrition and Health
There is controversy about whether a vegetarian/vegan diet is healthy for humans, that is, whether eliminating animal products from the diet can lead to adverse health effects.
When it comes to a vegetarian/vegan diet that arose from the urges of the Soul, the answer is "no", because in this case you feel at the moment whether a certain food is suitable for you, while in the case of a deficiency of certain substances in the body, a strong desire will spontaneously arise for precisely those products in which these missing substances are most abundant.
On the other hand, when it comes to a vegetarian/vegan diet, people who have not renew connection with their own Soul, have the opportunity to do so, because they are still under the guidance of their Ego, which in some people can be unbalanced and prone to exaggeration, which can lead to certain health disorders.
“What about the kids?”
When it comes to children and minors from vegetarian/vegan families, they should also be served animal foods out of home (fast food, restorans...), so that when they reach adulthood and become self-aware, they will choose their own diet.
Along with food there is drink, and mainly these are fruit juices, teas, boza, yeast, kombucha..., all of this has a positive effect on the physical body. In addition to the fact that kombucha is delicious, it is also very healthy, although it may be cheaper. But if you have time on the Internet, you can find a detailed description of its home preparation.
When it comes to alcohol, if you occasionally feel the need for a glass or two of some mild alcohol, it is not a tragedy. This can usually happen after a complete fast, during which there is a decrease in the amount of intestinal flora, which can be quickly compensated for by a couple of beers (non-alcoholic or alcoholic, your choice) over a few days. A decrease in intestinal flora can also be caused by the wrong food, which has begun to spoil due to expiration.
Beyond these general comments, it is impossible to give detailed dietary guidelines, as everyone reacts differently to certain foods. The most important thing is renewing connection with your Soul, and then over the coming months and years, this will gradually and almost imperceptibly bring your diet into alignment with your spiritual needs.
You must know that there is no exaggeration or asceticism in this, because Souls do not act like that.
Fasting
After several months or years of meditation, spontaneous fasting may occur, and this will happen to cleanse the physical body of harmful chemicals from drugs, food and water, and you will feel completely calm, because since the process is led by the Soul, you will not experience a subconscious fear of dying without food. When the fast comes to an end, you will again have a craving for food, so you should gradually increase your diet during the first week, with the obligatory use of laxatives to avoid the occurrence of hemorrhoids.
You should avoid volitional fasting except when necessary, because it is very different from spontaneous fasting caused by the influence of the Soul.
Finally, it should be said that meat eaters can sometimes feel offended in the presence of vegetarians/vegans, feeling that by not eating meat they want to present themselves as better than they really are. This can happen with animal rights activists who have become vegetarians/vegans, but with spiritual seekers it is either an attempt to connect with spirituality in this way, or, if they already have a connection with the Soul, to adapt their diet to their spiritual needs. Whether someone is a good or bad person does not depend on the food they eat, but on what they have done in their life.
