The skill requirements for most positions in the Software Tester occupational group include a skill level equivalent to a bachelor's degree or higher education. In some cases, a formal qualification may be accepted in lieu of vendor certification or five years of related experience. However, on-the-job training and relevant experience may be required in addition to formal education (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).
Candidates must meet a minimum language proficiency level to be eligible for a Software Tester position.
