David Bolesen is stepping down from slot machine maker Ainsworth Game Technology, which was chief technology officer. The news was confirmed in a filing with the Australian Exchange on Thursday.

Ainsworth said his departure by "mutual agreement" had "immediate effect."

The documents did not specify a reason for Bolesen's departure.

The company said it "admits and appreciates" that Bolesen "provides significant input and expertise during his tenure and wishes for the future."

The filing quoted Ainsworth CEO Harald Neumann as saying that Bolesen "supervised the implementation of a transitional product strategy that laid the groundwork for continuing to improve product performance and achieve growth across all regions."

Neumann added that Ainsworth will work to find a new CTO. The person is based on the company's operations in Las Vegas, Nevada.  카지노사이트 모음

"In the meantime, the CTO role will be overseen internally by each regional presidents, along with game studio leaders," the CEO said.

Ainsworth said earlier this week that it has "significantly expanded its presence in Asia" by installing slot machines at the sites of two casinos in South Korea - Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort, a complex casino in Incheon, and Kangwon Land, the only resort with casinos in the country.

The Australian-listed company earlier this month said it expected its pre-tax half-year profit to fall by at least 16.7% quarter-on-quarter. The company expects profit to be between A$13 million (US$8.7 million) and A$15 million in the first half of the year, excluding exchange rate impacts and one-off items. That's a very high figure compared to A$18 million achieved in the second half of 2023.
