MGM Grand Introduces Las Vegas' First Free Room Virtual Reality Stadium

MGM Grand Hotel & Casino Las Vegas and Zero Latency, the undisputed world leader in location-based free-room virtual reality (VR) entertainment, will showcase Las Vegas' first multiplayer free-room VR experience inside the Level Up Gaming Lounge on Sept. 8.

The stadium, "virtual reality powered by zero latency," is immersed in a digital universe with up to eight players fully interacting, allowing you to physically navigate significant distances through the 2,000-square-foot stadium while collaborating with other players who are beating your heart.

Tim Ruth, CEO of Zero Leighton City, said, "When it comes to playing games and exploring new worlds in virtual reality, it means more people are having more fun. Technology can often be isolated, but we're determined to continue designing games and experiences where people can take heart-warming VR adventures together and create real-life memories that can last a lifetime. We're excited to bring this experience to Las Vegas, our first West Coast region."

Teams that feature open space without obstacles are free to explore the virtual environment together. Wireless goggles and wearable computers allow players to lose themselves in games without being tied up. Fighting through simulations, teammates see each other as avatars of full movement, strategize, call for support, and ultimately compete for the best score. 온라인경마

Integrated into MGM Grand's gaming lounge, LEVEL UP, this VR technology complements new market technology-based games and traditional collections of favorites, perfect for improving the social environment and triggering friendly competition.

"We tried to bring a unique entertainment element to MGM Grand and it hit it off perfectly with Zero Latency, which uses amazing technology to create a virtual reality gaming experience," said MGM Grand Scott Sibella, president and COO. "We don't have anything like this in Las Vegas. And we're proud that MGM Grand was the first city to start the 'wow' moment for our guests."

Each play-through is a unique experience, measured by both individual and team scores. Players stay in touch with each other through laser-embedded headphone/microphone units and OSVR HDK2 virtual reality headsets, while wearing military-grade backpacks that contain high-performance Alienware PC gaming computers. They carry a fully weighted and customized simulated weapon for game sessions that require firepower.
