how do you feel about the new minecraft updates?
i have mixed feelings. nowadays, minecraft is a whole new game. don't get me wrong, all the new features are amazing! but don't you miss the old minecraft, and the nostalgia it gives? i'm very torn between new and old.
i'm very very attached to old minecraft. all the new additions feel like too much! something about it doesn't feel "vanilla". it's not necissarily losing it's charm, but it feels more like it's charm is being changed or overwritten. new minecraft can't simulate the same feel of playing it with your friends back in 2017 during a late summer night. the new music doesn't have that same C418 feel. it's almost like the vision of what minecraft was supposed to be is out of sight; like they're just freestyling it now.
oh well, let's talk about some of the new features!
one thing i really wanted to talk about are the caves. THE CAVES ARE SO SCARY NOW, LIKE ZOMG... just looking into them makes my stomach start to turn...

the new caves are no doubt super scary, but they are really fun to mine in if you don't have to worry about mobs! i really like the lush caves because they're very aesthetically pleasing and have, like... warm and cozy vibes? they are just really nice to be in!!!
nex thing... new mobs! i like how the community can vote on which mobs they want. wardens are cool, frogs and tadpoles are cute, fireflies seem a little unnecissary, but could be nice, and allays seem pretty useful. i'm still really hung up on the fact that they needed to add fireflies for some reason??? hm...
zome of the new blocks are cool... i really like the froglights! mud bricks seem like they could be used in some pretty coold buildz...
overall the new minecraft update iz pretty good, despite some of the unnecissary additions and my complaining... hehe
