Global Gaming Women (GGW) announces the 13th annual Kick Up Your Hill Premier Fundraiser to support the GGW Charitable Education Fund. The event supports scholarships and other development offerings for professional women in the gaming industry and celebrates those who won the Patti Becker Pay it Forward Award from 5-7 p.m. at XS nightclub in Wynn, Las Vegas, on Wednesday, October 11. GGW has also prepared a surprise for all attendees of this year's Kick Up Your Hill event. The release will take place immediately at 6 p.m.
On Tuesday, October 10, Ellen Whitemore, a member of the Global Gaming Women's Board, will be inducted into the American Gaming Association Game Hall of Fame as part of the 2023 class. She currently serves as vice president, legal adviser and secretary at Wynn Resorts. GGW is also excited to announce the return of Sip & Social in person for a fireside conversation with Sandra Douglas Morgan, president of the National Football League's Las Vegas Raiders, focusing on their journey across the gaming industry and now leading to the presidency of the NFL's first black women's team. Get a quick breakfast, networking and inspiration at Casanova Room 501 inside the Venetian Expo on Thursday, October 12, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Las Vegas, Venice. Tickets are $50 per participant and $60 for the week of the event. Registration is required. The event also celebrates CDC Gaming Report's "10 Rising Women in the Game" honor in partnership with Global Gaming Women.
