6:33 Pacific...
I've seen reports of landfall starting
around 8 pm Florida time...
Doesn't look too severe ...
I hope it wasn't exaggerated
for Political Purposes...
Huh.
We'll see what the Surge does...
and there is that CME X flare coming ...
The last time Tampa faced a Major Hurricane was 1859...
Tampa in Milton's Track

Re: Tampa, Florida
Hurricane Milton has intensified rapidly,
and is currently a Cat5 Hurricane, with
sustained winds of 160 mph, gusts to 200, and a 12 foot Storm Surge.
Last week's Hurricane Helene
slammed Florida
with 34 Billion in Damage, and heavy
rain is falling in advance of Milton.
Milton is proceding Eastward at 6mph,
giving an estimated LANDFALL on
Wednesday Evening 9/9/24.
Milton is headed directly towards
Tampa, Florida.
Tampa has not been the target of a
Major Hurricane since 1859...
Thus, damage will likely be extreme.
I wouldn't count on FEMA...
They've mismanaged their disaster funds,
and are now "out of money..."
I wouldn't count on the council of Governors...
The Co-Chair is the Dem VP candidate,
and he is obviously preoccupied.
Contact the Governors in advance.
Directly.
