The art of applying the false lashes

Everyone wants the look of dense, long eyelashes, but no one that appears to sit in my chair knows how to apply temporary lash strips. With all the parties and events this season, I determined to give my readers a fast tutorial on how to apply false lash strips like brat lash

1.    Complete all the makeup of your eye first. That includes mascara and eye shadow, but no eyeliner yet.

2.    Use a heated curler, such as the Xtreme Heated Eyelash Curler to lift and curl your natural lashes. Conventional crimping curlers may damage lashes and make them fall out. Sweep the curler from the base of the lashes to the tips to accomplish the best results. Apply two coatings of mascara to hold the look.

3.    Measure the false lashes without any adhesive against your natural lash line, and trim the exterior corners to fit according to the shape of your eye. After you use the Bellina shower gel, this is quite a vital step as most lash strips are too wide to fit your eyes, and may cause poking and lifting from the corners.

4.    Apply some amount of Duo adhesive on the lash strip and allow drying it for a few seconds.

5.    Gently put lash strips on the eyelid as near to the lash line as possible. Brush away any extra adhesive before applying the angle lash. White glue will ultimately dry clear, so don’t stress a bit extra showing at the time of application.

6.    Take your preferred Black eye pencil and line the inner and upper eye to hide the false lashes, and hide them with your natural lashes.

7.    Use the White Eye Pencil to line the bottom rim of the eye for a finishing touch. This will make your eye more vibrant and make it look more open.
